Created front-end applications (Windows Forms) in .NET using VB and many classes written in C#. These applications worked with a DB2 and MS SQL backend. Developed SQL views, stored procedures and functions in MS SQL that interacted with .NET applications and Crystal Reports.
    • Vast experience with MS SQL 2000 and 2005: T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views and Triggers. Also used DTS and later Business Intelligence Development Studio to access data from other databases such as DB2 and Sybase.
    • Used VB .NET with the 2.0 Framework in conjunction with CSLA Robert Lhotka’s framework using N-Tier and Object Oriented concepts and used code generators to speed-up the development process.

Worked in large, enterprise scale applications over $50 million dollars, involved a conversion from PowerBuilder/Sybase to Java/DB2. The data was moved into a SQL Server database using t-sql prior to being pushed into DB2 via ADO.NET. Responsibilities included creating views, tables, stored procedures and functions in VB.NET and C# classes.
    • Worked through Jaguar Consulting (www.jaguartc.com) for companies such as: NBA, WNBA, Major League Baseball, Hallmark, National Geographic, NBC Enterprises, Liz Claiborne, Chorion, MGM, Lions Gate Entertainment and others. Project involved maintaining and modifying a robust, 3-tier “Rights Management Application”, with several web-based pieces. The application was used for tracking inventory, handling accounting and royalties, etc. and the primary technologies were VB, ASP, Sybase, Reporting Services, Crystal Reports and T-SQL.
    • Ongoing modifications, over 2 years, to an overhauled old system that used Gupta into a .NET, MS SQL system using .NET remoting. This company keeps track of the shipments of chemicals that are shipped around the globe.
    • Created 2 applications that replaced manual registration processes into automatic and computerized systems using .NET and MS SQL for a non-profit organization. Used barcode technologies and Crystal Reports .NET.
